Provider Bio

Laura Walsh, MD, PhD, is committed to providing exceptional dermatologic care with a focus on personalized medicine. Her practice is centered around shared decision making, helping patients make informed decisions about their skin care. Her clinical interests are in the diagnosis and treatment of inflammatory skin conditions and skin cancers, as well as performing procedures, including the treatment and removal of skin cancers, growths, and cysts.

Dr. Walsh is a Washington native and graduated cum laude with degrees in chemistry and biochemistry from University of Washington as a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She attended medical school at University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) and concurrently completed her PhD in bioengineering at UC Berkeley and UCSF. Dr. Walsh completed her medical internship at Kaiser Permanente, San Francisco Medical Center and her dermatology residency at Northwestern University. She is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha and a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.

Dr. Walsh spends her time outside of clinic with her family. She bakes pastries and breads, gardens, hikes, and enjoys playing boards games with friends.
